Rubber products developed and manufactured by Zeon, including oil-resistant speciality rubbers and general-purpose rubbers used in tyres, have made significant contributions to related industries, particularly the automotive industry.

Zeon Chemicals Europe Ltd manufactures the following rubbers at its plant in Sully.

NBR NIPOL / BREON

A typical oil-resistant rubber with better abrasion performance and ageing resistance. Recommended when oil or solvent resistance is needed for the proper functioning of rubber parts.

POLYBLACK

A base NBR rubber mixed with carbon black and produced as crumb from masterbatch. Can be used in various applications where oil resistance, reinforcement and electrical conductivity are required.

SYNTHETIC LATICES

Made by dispersing polymer particles uniformly with an emulsifier. Used for such diverse applications as; paper coatings, gloves, ABS resin modifiers, textiles, road paving adhesives and foam rubber.
